Artist's Comments
This is a commission to paint Dublin which i,ve just completed. Its a view of O'Connell street which is the main street in Dublin from the south side of O'Connell bridge. One of the main landmarks in Dublin city is a 100 metre spike which you can see on the left side here behind the lights which looks like a giant needle sticking out of the street with some lights around the top of it.
I was told i could put my own twist on this painting so i added in some aliens walking across O'Connell bridge and my own car designs and other quirky things which you can see all over the place here. Its done with acrylics on primed board and measures 13" x 17" |
